This Saturday took me to my first Photo Exhibition ever, to The Upside Down World of Philippe Ramette which has arrived in Pune courtesy, Alliance Francaise de Pune & Institut Francis in collaboration with Hyatt Regency Pune.

A famed sculpture, Philippe Ramette is a photographer with a difference, in the sense that he challenges you to stretch your concept of perspective to the extreme. His photographs feature him in a black suit, posing at the most difficult locales in the most bizarre gravity defying postures. As a result, you may find him staring at the sky with the sea at his back, Standing upside down from a ceiling, or sitting peaceful on a mountain – in an impossible position. Almost every photograph seems to be a work of photoshop, but none of these have been digitally touched, and that’s the most astonishing part of it.

So, we were a happy people in the middle of some breathtaking-mind challenging photographs. Lets have a look:

This sounds very interesting, Puru. I’ve never seen anything like this. I’ll try and see if I can manage a Pune trip this weekend.
