Perhaps the last from my series on Chennai, the second part of the photo blog on Marina Beach, when the sun rose and the shadows had gone…

Chennai - Scape: My last sunrise at Marina Beach 1

There is light at the horizon.. fishing boats at the beach with the lights of Chennai Port still on in the background

A few are already out in the sea for their daily catch, like this one..

Fishermen getting ready with their nets, all set to start the work

While this gentleman is still getting ready ..

Some more boats ..

And the blades of Titanic’s turbine washed ashore.. ok am kidding 😛  BTW, do you see a photographer in the background?

As people start coming and families arrive at the beach, I say my Good Bye to Marina

So that was how I saw Marina Beach on one Sunday morning.. hope you will like it…

How strange that you write a good bye to Chennai and I write on completing one troubled year in Chennai. I guess the city worked well for you and did grow on you in all its sweetness. Stay well wherever you go!

Thank You 🙂 .. Chennai is like an old wine, it takes time to be discovered and show grow up on you. For me, it was like my second home 🙂
