Everyone loves a good spa break, don’t they? You can get away from the stresses and the hubbub of the everyday working life and take some time for yourself, in which you can get well and truly relaxed, letting all your problems and worries drift away as someone pampers you luxuriously.

They are a great place to retreat to, and what’s not to love about that? Because we all love spas, there are rather a lot available to choose from. At first, this seems like it can only be a positive thing, but we’ve managed to find a downside – how on earth are you supposed to make your mind up? Which one is best?

Luckily, we’ve also managed to find a quick and easy solution to this (admittedly inconsequential) problem: we’re going to look at which ones are popular in the celebrity world. If it’s good enough for the stars, then it’s good enough for us! On with the list…

Rejuvenation Baglioni – London

In the most upmarket section of Kensington you will find the glamorous and decadent retreat known as the Baglioni Hotel, itself a favourite among VIPs. The boutique hotel provides everything you could possibly expect – you’d hope so, considering the price!

Its Rejuvenation spa aims to completely restore your overall well-being through the use of Ayurvedic practices, leaving you feeling refreshed, cleansed, and energetic. Celebrities who swear by the Baglioni include the one and only Christina Aguilera, who gets pampered with a treatment whenever she stays at the hotel.

Champneys – Tring

In Tring – which isn’t too far from the capital, in case you didn’t know – you will find the wondrous Champneys Health Resort. Situated in the heart of 170 acres of glorious Hertfordshire countryside, it is truly a sight to behold.

It has been a world-class spa resort since it opened back in 1925, and has attracted all sorts of celebrities, everyone from Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell to Russell Brand and even the England football squad! You can sink into the 25-metre pool and all your troubles will just float away…

Since undergoing its £14m renovation a few years back, it’s an experience like no other – take a look at secretescapes.com for more information on this gorgeous retreat.

Formby Hall – Southport

For the ultimate in celebrity beauty and spa treatments, look no further than the rasul mud treatment, something which the experts at Formby Hall Golf Resort and Spa just so happen to specialise in. They have a proper A-List celebrity treatment here; everything you’d need to get you ready for the red carpet!

If that’s not enough, there’s also a renowned golf course you can play on (the clue’s in the name, really), as well as more than 130 acres of lush, green parkland just dying to be explored, so why not get a little closer to the natural world?

You’ll be in good company if you decide to spend some time here – Sarah Jessica Parker and Madonna are just two of the resort’s many devoted fans!
